The DBS certificate currently records no information in relation to convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings; relevant police information; the Children’s Barred List; the Adults’ Barred List; or the other relevant information sections included within the certificate.
For privacy and security reasons, DBS certificates and the personal information contained within them are not published on this website.

Where additional practitioners are engaged by The Pathway Partnership, appropriate safeguarding checks will be required according to their role and the activities they undertake.

4. Nature of Our Services
The Pathway Partnership provides educational, mentoring, coaching, early-intervention and wellbeing-focused services for children and young people.
Our work may include programmes, mentoring, transition support, early intervention, parent education, staff awareness and training, workshops and other forms of educational support.
Our services are designed to complement rather than replace the support already surrounding a child or young person.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Pathway Partnership does not provide:
- medical diagnosis or treatment;
- psychiatric or psychological diagnosis;
- psychotherapy;
- clinical assessment or treatment;
- statutory SEND assessment;
- legal advice; or
- emergency or crisis mental-health services.
Where needs are identified that fall outside the scope of our services, involvement from an appropriate school professional, healthcare professional, safeguarding service or other specialist may be recommended.
5. ADHD, SEND, Neurodiversity & Mental Health
The Pathway Partnership works with children and young people with a wide range of needs, experiences and ways of learning.
References to ADHD, autism, SEND, neurodiversity, emotional regulation, mental health and related subjects throughout this website are provided for educational, mentoring and awareness purposes.
The Pathway Partnership does not diagnose ADHD, autism or any other neurodevelopmental or mental-health condition.
Participation in one of our programmes should not be interpreted as suggesting that a child has a particular diagnosis.
Where appropriate, children and young people may access our support without a formal diagnosis, subject to the requirements of the individual service and commissioning organisation.
6. Safeguarding & Confidentiality
We want children and young people to feel that they have a safe space in which they can talk openly, be listened to and feel understood.
However, confidentiality with a child or young person cannot be absolute where safeguarding is concerned.
Where information disclosed during a programme, mentoring session or intervention gives rise to a safeguarding concern, information may be shared with the relevant school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or other appropriate safeguarding professionals or authorities.
The safety and welfare of the child or young person will take priority over confidentiality where there is a safeguarding concern.
7. Working With Schools
When The Pathway Partnership operates within a school or education setting, our provision works alongside the school’s existing:
Safeguarding procedures • SEND provision • Pastoral support • Behaviour policies • Attendance procedures • Educational responsibilities
Our involvement does not transfer a school’s statutory responsibilities to The Pathway Partnership.
Schools remain responsible for decisions relating to safeguarding, education, attendance, behaviour, sanctions, suspension, exclusion and statutory SEND provision.
The Pathway Partnership provides an additional layer of support, working collaboratively with the child, school and, where appropriate, their family.
8. The Bridge Intervention
The Bridge Intervention is designed to provide additional support for pupils experiencing escalation, emotional dysregulation, repeated incidents, difficulties with behaviour or potential suspension.
Its purpose is to create an opportunity to:
Regulate → Reflect → Understand → Reconnect → Reintegration
Bridge does not replace a school’s behaviour policy, safeguarding procedures or statutory responsibilities.
Participation in Bridge does not guarantee that a suspension, exclusion or other school sanction will be avoided.
Final decisions relating to disciplinary action, suspension and exclusion remain the responsibility of the relevant school and its leadership.
9. One-to-One Mentoring
One-to-one mentoring provided through The Pathway Partnership is a non-clinical, individualised form of support.
Mentoring may explore areas including:
self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, identity, communication, decision-making, relationships, school engagement, motivation and understanding personal patterns of behaviour.
Mentoring is not therapy, counselling or medical treatment and should not be considered a replacement for appropriate professional mental-health or healthcare support.
10. Outcomes & Progress
Every child and young person is different.
The Pathway Partnership does not guarantee specific educational, behavioural, emotional or personal outcomes.
Progress can be affected by many factors, including the individual’s circumstances, needs, engagement, school environment, home environment and the wider support available around them.
Where progress is measured, we may consider areas such as:
self-awareness • emotional regulation • communication • confidence • engagement • understanding of triggers • coping strategies • decision-making • relationships • self-worth • willingness to seek support
Behaviour may form part of this picture but is not necessarily used as the sole measure of success.
Testimonials, case studies and examples represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees of equivalent outcomes.
11. Parent & Staff Education
Talks, workshops, presentations and educational resources provided by The Pathway Partnership are intended to improve awareness, understanding and practical support.
They provide general educational information and should not be considered individual medical, psychological, therapeutic or legal advice.
Information should always be considered alongside the specific circumstances and needs of the child or young person concerned.
12. Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure information published on this website is accurate and current.
However, education guidance, safeguarding requirements, legislation, research and professional guidance can change.
Information published by The Pathway Partnership is therefore provided for general information and educational purposes and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice relevant to a particular situation.

14. Third-Party Organisations
References on this website to schools, charities, organisations, professional bodies or other third parties should not automatically be interpreted as indicating a formal partnership, accreditation, sponsorship or endorsement.
Where a formal partnership, collaboration or other relationship exists, this will be stated clearly.
Similarly, delivering services within a school, Trust or organisation does not automatically mean that organisation formally endorses The Pathway Partnership or Made With ADHD Ltd.
15. Photography, Testimonials & Case Studies
Any photographs, testimonials, case studies or stories involving children, young people, families, schools or clients will be used subject to appropriate permissions and data-protection requirements.
Where case studies are anonymised, identifying information may be removed or altered to protect the privacy of the individuals involved.
Safeguarding and privacy will take priority over promotional considerations.
16. Data Protection & Privacy
Personal information collected through this website or during the delivery of our services will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data-protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.
Additional arrangements may apply when The Pathway Partnership processes information on behalf of a school or other commissioning organisation.
Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for further information regarding how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected.
17. Complaints & Concerns
We aim to provide services professionally, safely and respectfully.
Concerns relating to our services should initially be raised directly with The Pathway Partnership so that they can be considered and responded to appropriately.
Safeguarding concerns should be raised immediately through the relevant safeguarding procedure rather than through the standard complaints process.
18. Governing Law
This Legal Notice and use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising in connection with the website or services will be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by law.
